Symptoms

A symptom is something you feel. As a patient you may also refer to things you can see, this is technically referred to as a sign, however in the context of this page, we have grouped these under symptoms. Conditions and symptoms (or signs) are sometimes confused as they are all related to an ailment. Usually patients present to their doctor speaking about their symptoms, a doctor then pieces this information together with tests, investigations, scans and so on to determine your diagnosis – or underlying condition. The condition is then treated and in turn, symptoms should begin to subside.

Following is a list of common symptoms. If you are experiencing any or a combination of these, you should consult your doctor / GP for treatment – or to obtain a referral to see a specialist Gastroenterologist, Dr. Suhirdan.
